This Privacy Policy explains how Firoplay (“Firoplay”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile and web applications and related services (the “Service”).
By installing or using Firoplay, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Information we collect
We only collect information that is necessary to provide and improve Firoplay:
- Account and identity data (such as your email address, display name and profile photo when you sign in).
- Files and media that you choose to upload, along with metadata such as file name, size, type, upload date and storage location.
- Usage and log data, including app events (screens opened, basic actions), technical information (device model, OS version, app version, language, timestamps) and crash reports.
2. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide core features such as upload, storage, sharing, playback and account management.
- Keep Firoplay secure and prevent abuse, fraud or misuse.
- Monitor performance, fix bugs and improve the Service based on how it is used.
We do not sell your personal data.
3. How we store and protect data
- Your files and account data may be stored on secure cloud infrastructure (for example, object storage and database services).
- We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss or misuse (such as encryption in transit, access controls and logging).
- No system is 100% secure; you are responsible for keeping your login information safe and using a strong password.
4. When we share information
We may share your information only in these limited situations:
- With your direction, for example when you create share links so others can view or download your content.
- With trusted service providers that help us operate Firoplay (cloud storage, analytics, email), who may only use data on our behalf.
- When required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect our rights, property, safety, or that of others.
5. Data retention and deletion
- We keep your files and account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service.
- You can delete files from within the app at any time; deleted files may remain in backups for a limited period before being permanently removed.
- You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us; we may retain limited information if required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
6. Children’s privacy
Firoplay is not intended for children under 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your country).
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under this age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
7. Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing.
You can delete files directly in the app and manage app permissions from your device settings. You may also uninstall the app at any time to stop further data collection from that device.
8. International transfers
Our servers or service providers may be located in different countries. By using Firoplay, you understand that your information may be processed and stored in countries that may have different data protection laws,
and we take steps to ensure an appropriate level of protection in accordance with applicable laws.
9. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and may provide additional notice within the app.
Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective means you accept the updated policy.
